The authorities of Córdoba have launched an ambitious urban infrastructure scheme that includes 30 fronts of work at strategic points in the city. This first phase of interventions has an allocation of funds reaching a total amount of $18,450,170,000 for road sanitation. Currently, 18 works are already fully active where concrete, asphalt and comprehensive maintenance of public spaces are carried
out.The focus of these initial tasks is on the recovery of trunk avenues and corridors that register the highest traffic flow. The operational crews are distributed by quadrants to cover the southwest, southeast, northwest and northeast areas in a coordinated manner. In addition, it is expected that in the coming days 12 new groups of operators will be added to speed up the completion of the pending sections
.The planning includes asphalt rehabilitation and concrete patching with the objective of optimizing safety on the capital's streets. In order to minimize the negative impact on daily circulation, some of the work is carried out exclusively during night hours. The previous surveys to determine priorities were carried out using data from operational centers and requests from various local entities
