The wait came to an end. Eduardo Coudet was officially introduced as River's new coach. At a press conference with the club's president, Stéfano Di Carlo, and the technical secretary, Enzo Franchescoli, Chacho spoke of his emotion at taking office, his view on the team and the need to recover, among other things

As for sports, River's new coach was clear with his projection: “Although they know the DNA of my teams, I think it goes very hand in hand with the taste of the club's fan, of surely trying to have a leading team as history asks for and as I always try to do, regardless of the tools or the club I work for.”

In turn, he highlighted the level of the current squad: “There is a great squad, I am convinced, and things are going to work out. We need time and work, because regardless of the taste we have, which is similar to Gallardo's thinking, we all have our ideas as coaches and our way of transmitting. In

addition to this analysis, Coudet assured that the best players played, regardless of the rest of the factors. “I don't look at documents, nationalities, I don't look at anything. For me, the one that is best or the one we need at that time plays.

“We have to have strong competition, there is a healthy group, I know a lot of the players, I wanted to have a lot of them but I never had money,” he added, also stressing the importance of having youth players and empowering them.
