The President of the United States, Donald Trump, reaffirmed that the central objective of the military offensive in the Middle East is to prevent the Iranian regime from obtaining nuclear weapons.
The president expressed his position in a message published on his social network Truth Social, where he argued that Washington's strategic priority is to prevent Tehran from representing a global threat.
“What interests me and matters much more, as president, is to stop an evil empire, Iran, from having nuclear weapons and destroying the Middle East and, in fact, the world. I will never allow it!” , Trump wrote.
His statements come in the midst of the joint offensive that the United States is carrying out with Israel against the Iranian nuclear program.
An offensive to neutralize the nuclear threat
The military operation that began on February 28 has the stated objective of neutralizing the Iranian regime's nuclear infrastructure

For Washington and Tel Aviv, these facilities were part of the infrastructure for developing nuclear weapons.
