The Brazilian right-wing presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro assured that, if he wins the elections against the socialist dictator Lula da Silva, he will end the censorship against The Daily Right in Brazil and will advance measures to guarantee freedom of expression.

During an exclusive interview with Javier Negre, the leader argued that his space has sufficient support to promote changes in this regard, even in the face of the actions of Judge Alexandre de Moraes. “We have a large base of support and will be able to guarantee freedom of expression,” he said.

The definition is framed in his participation in the conservative CPAC conference held in Texas, where Bolsonaro spoke about the Brazilian political scene and the proposals of his possible government. In this context, he stressed his intention to reverse the strong censorship installed by the Lula regime in the

country.

The Daily Right has currently been blocked in Brazil since 2022.

The authoritarian measure was adopted after the media reported, with evidence, the electoral fraud carried out by Lula da Silva against former president and now political prisoner Jair Bolsonaro.

In this context, his son and presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro stated that one of the central axes of his possible administration will be to reverse these types of actions that attack press freedom.

for change in the next elections.

He also reiterated that his space works on electoral control mechanisms to avoid irregularities and guarantee the democratic process.

In this regard, he insisted that the defense of freedom of expression will be a priority, especially in the face of judicial decisions that have restricted access to certain information content

.

In terms of security, the candidate said that he shares an agenda with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in the need to classify criminal organizations as terrorists. He criticized the fact that the current Brazilian dictator, Lula da Silva, refuses to move in

that direction.

Finally, when asked about his electoral chances, he considered that the possibility of becoming president is real. He argued that the current socialist regime is undergoing severe wear and tear and that it does not respect citizens, which opens up an opportunity for political change in Brazil
