Franco Colapinto will paralyze Buenos Aires next Sunday, April 26 with his Road Show, an event that will combine the history and current affairs of Formula 1 on the streets of Palermo. In the last few hours, it has been confirmed that the exhibition will have a special flavor: in addition to driving a modern car, the Argentinian driver will also ride Juan Manuel Fangio's legendary “Silver Arrow”, one of the most iconic cars

in motorsport history.

The event will take place on an armed street circuit around the Monument to the Spaniards, where Colapinto will make four trips to the track alternating between the Lotus E20, plotted in the current Alpine colors, and the historic Mercedes-Benz W196, the model with which Fangio became world champion in 1954 and 1955.

In addition to the link with the legendary Argentine driver, this vehicle was a key piece in the history of the Máxima. With an eight-cylinder engine, injection technology and innovative solutions for its time, this model exceeded 300 km/h and marked a turning point in the category

.

The presence of the legendary car will not only serve as an example of a historic object, but also as a tribute to the five-time world champion, the greatest icon of Argentine motorsport.

The schedule of the exhibition

As expected, the first start of Colapinto will be at 12:45 p.m., although the activity will begin first with an interview with journalist Juan Fossaroli at 10 o'clock and then a tour of the pilot in a convertible minibus around the circuit, allowing him to interact with

fans and distribute t-shirts.

The day promises to be a unique experience, with cars from different eras sharing the stage and with Colapinto as the central protagonist of a show that will unite the past and present of motorsport
