. The announcement of the Argentine Club of Madrid
The 27-year-old forward will be the teammate of Agustín Álvarez and Rafael Álvarez, brothers of Julián Álvarez, who played a key role in the efforts to complete his incorporation. In fact, the Atlético de Madrid striker had already accompanied the team recently, in a triumph in which his brothers were the
protagonists.
Simeone's debut is scheduled for this Sunday at 13 (Argentine time), in a decisive match against Club del Pozo, in which Argentino will seek to consolidate himself at the top of the table and move closer to the promotion positions.
The return to football comes after Cholo Simeone's son retired in August 2025 after his time with Rayo Majadahonda, with the intention of starting a career as a representative and dedicating time to his family. However, the possibility of joining this project, with a strong Argentinian identity, convinced him to return on a momentary
basis.
The team, which dreams of its second promotion in just three years of life, has thus added a strong addition to the final stage of the championship. With seven dates to be played, Simeone's arrival appears to be a key impetus to fight for
the goal.
