    The feature had been anticipated over a year ago by Adam Mosseri, CEO of Instagram, and has finally started to roll out to the platform's mobile applications.

    The main novelty is that users can now move posts within their profile grid according to their preferences.

    Until now, the order of posts was determined by the publication date. With this update, it will be possible to modify the location of each piece of content regardless of when it was shared.

    From Meta, they acknowledged that the launch took longer than expected. In statements to USA Today, the company explained: "We know this has been delayed for a long time, but we wanted to take the necessary time to do it right."

    The new tool is available directly from each user's profile. To access the feature, follow these steps:

    • Go to the Instagram profile.

    • Press and hold any post in the grid.

    • Select the option "Reorder Grid".

    • Drag the posts to the desired position.

    However, pinned content will continue to appear at the top of the profile, regardless of the other changes made.

    This allows for a combination of featured posts with a completely personalized organization of the feed.
