Milei will participate in the Madrid Economic Forum next Saturday

President Javier Milei confirmed that he will participate in the Madrid Economic Forum, where he will be in charge of closing the event that will take place on March 14 at the Vistalegre Palace. The confirmation came from New York, where the president is developing an intense international agenda

Through his account on the social network X, the head of state announced his presence at the economic and business meeting considered one of the most influential in the liberal sphere in Spain. “See you at the MEF. VLLC,” Milei wrote when sharing the official announcement of the

event.

The Madrid Economic Forum will include the participation of sixteen speakers and a series of panels that will address different issues related to the economic, political and cultural debate in the Western world. The planned axes include the role of the media, the business function, new educational models, economic deregulation and criticism of the advancement of left-wing ideas in contemporary politics

The day will begin at 8 in the morning and will last for approximately twelve hours. The closing will be carried out by Milei, who will be the only current politician among the exhibitors. The event will culminate with a private dinner for special guests

As part of the program, a panel entitled “Milei's Argentina” will also be held, dedicated to analyzing the economic reforms promoted by the libertarian government.

The panel will be composed of the Spanish economist Juan Ramón Rallo and the economist Eduardo Garzón.

It will not be the first participation of the Argentine president in this forum. In the 2025 edition, Milei gave one of the most talked about speeches at the event, with strong criticism of socialism and a defense of the ideas of freedom in front of a packed auditorium in the same venue in Madrid.
