President Javier Milei participated in the ceremony for the 78th anniversary of Israel's independence, in an event attended by the country's main authorities.
During the celebration, the Argentine president stood with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then took the stage, where he sang the song “Libre”, by Nino Bravo, before giving a speech.
The event took place on Mount Herzl, an emblematic site of the city of Jerusalem, where the country's main official ceremonies take place. There, Milei played a prominent role in lighting the last of the 12 torches that represent the tribes of the State
of Israel.In his message, the head of state emphasized the link between the two nations. “In this life there are partners and friends, but friends forge lifelong bonds, united by moral and shared values. Argentina and Israel are friendly nations,” he said.
