LeBron James rewrote his name in big NBA history.
In the tight victory of the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic 105-104, the forward reached 1,612 regular season games and became the player with the most appearances in the league, surpassing Robert Parish's 1,611 record. The record, which had been in place for almost three decades, had been equalized by James himself days earlier in the victory against the Miami Heat. Finally, this Saturday he managed to overcome it and remain alone at the top of a statistic that reflects his impressive longevity
.For this type of record, the NBA counts only regular phase games, although if you add up its 292 Playoff appearances, LeBron has already surpassed 1,900 total games between his stints with Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers. If he maintains his continuity, he could even become the first player to reach 2,000 games in the league
