A total of 17 minors were rescued from a clandestine textile workshop that operated on a property that had been usurped by a band of Bolivian immigrants for more than 15 yearsin the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Parque Chas.
The procedure, carried out by the City Police, also made it possible to recover the building and dismantle an illegal structure that operated there.
The operation was ordered by the North Flagrancia Unit and coordinated by prosecutor María Andrea Caleri, as part of an intervention motivated by irregularities detected in the house.

According to police sources, the building, located in Barzana 1236, presented a building risk, as had been previously warned by the Government
Control Agency (AGC).
At the time of the inspection, the occupants of the place, mostly Bolivians, refused to allow the authorities to enter, forcing the agents to force their way in to move forward with the procedure.
Once inside, it was found that an unauthorised textile workshop operated on the ground floor, while precarious buildings had been built on the terrace without any authorization.

During the operation, the authorities found 17 minors who were working on the site, in conditions that motivated their immediate intervention and rescue. In addition, an illegal immigrant was identified, who was arrested as part of the procedure

The National Directorate of Migration of the Government of Javier Milei found that this person had a valid arrest warrant, so it decided to move forward with his deportation from the country.
“This is what squatter defenders protect. A house usurped for 15 years and inside 17 minors exploited by foreigners in a clandestine textile workshop. We rescued the boys and the illegal immigrant will be expelled from the country. Law and order,” the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Jorge Macri, said in networks

The case is part of a series of operations aimed at recovering illegally occupied properties and combating structures linked to clandestine activities.
