In parallel with the dissemination of messages linked to Pablo Toviggino and his former collaborator, Juan Pablo Beacon, which would reveal a possible sending of envelopes to the Director National Arbitration Officer, Federico Beligoy, there were signs of payments to a journalist who is currently closely linked to the Argentine Football Association (AFA).
According to the reconstruction analyzed by judicial sources, Secanucas Pablo Carrozza would have received monthly transfers of between 40,000 and 50,000 pesos from an account of the company Malte SRL, linked to Toviggino, at least between September and December 2020 and several months of 2021.
These payments, which according to versions would have been extended until 2025, would aim to create a narrative favorable to the management of the AFA and, at the same time, to publicly install complaints against the referee Nicolás Jara.

One of the episodes that gained notoriety was a match between Deportivo Merlo and Sacachispas, in which a penalty sanctioned in added time was questioned and which proved decisive for the development of the match. On the basis of that case and other publications, complaints and versions of an alleged settlement of results began to multiply

The issue escalated to the judicial level when Buenos Aires legislator Facundo Del Gaiso filed a complaint for alleged scams and other defrauds involving Jara, Federico Beligoy and Pablo Toviggino
.
However, the case was closed in 2025 for "the absence of a federal crime “, although new elements that emerged in parallel investigations could reactivate the analysis of those facts.
In this context, the appearance of chats and transfers refocuses on the relationship between leadership, arbitration and media construction. The investigation seeks to determine if there was a coordinated operation to install certain versions, protect sectors of power and condition the public debate surrounding
