The company Square Enix announced the release of Dragon Quest Smash/Grow. The title will arrive on April 21 on iOS and Android under the free-to-play model.
The new game is committed to a dynamic experience. It combines fast action with Roguelite mechanics adapted to the classic Dragon Quest universe
.Dragon Quest Smash/Grow introduces a different structure. It leaves behind the traditional rhythm of the saga and opts for short sessions.
The central axis is “blessings”. These are random upgrades that change with each game. This forces players to constantly adapt their strategy
.The result is an unpredictable experience. Each route is different and avoids the repetition of tactics
.The game maintains traditional elements. It includes the vocation system, which allows you to assemble teams with different abilities
.It also incorporates progression trees. These allow you to improve characters and customize the style of play.
The exploration takes place in randomly generated dungeons. These “cracks” offer constant challenges
.In addition, players will be accompanied by Roly, a mechanical ally with a key role in the story.
One of the strengths is the cooperative mode. Up to four players can join in real time.
