President Donald Trump announced this Wednesday that Iran will not be able to re-enrich uranium and assured that the United States will oversee the extraction of nuclear waste from Iranian underground facilities hit during the recent military offensive.

The declaration represents one of the strongest definitions so far of the strategic objectives achieved by Washington after the conflict that began last February 28.

Trump assured that the Iranian nuclear program came under control

Through a publication in Truth Social, Trump stated that the Iranian regime's nuclear facilities remain under “exhaustive satellite surveillance” by the United States Space Force

.

The president maintained that no element has been removed since the attack carried out by B-2 Spirit bombers, and stressed that Washington maintains permanent monitoring of all Iranian strategic infrastructure.

The US will make progress in removing buried nuclear material

Trump explained that one of the central points of the ceasefire agreement reached with Tehran is that the United States will collaborate directly in the removal of nuclear waste present in Iranian underground facilities

.

According to the president, this operation will form part of a new phase of international supervision over the Persian regime's nuclear program.

“Many of the 15 points of the agreement have already been accepted,” Trump said.

Washington seeks to permanently dismantle the Iranian program

  • According to Israeli officials quoted by international media, the Trump administration also pledged to press for: the

    • complete withdrawal of Iranian nuclear material, the dismantling of sensitive infrastructure, and the neutralization

    • of

    Tehran's ballistic missile program.

  • The White House considers that the elimination of the Iranian nuclear threat constitutes one of the main geopolitical achievements of the joint offensive launched with Israel.

Trump threatens global sanctions against those who arm Iran

In parallel, the US president announced a new international economic warning

    .

Trump threatened to impose an immediate 50% tariff on any country that supplies military weapons to the Iranian regime.

“There will be no exclusions or exemptions,” he said.

The measure especially targets countries and international actors that continue to collaborate militarily with Tehran despite the conflict.

Tensions persist despite the ceasefire Despite the

announced agreement, the situation remains extremely delicate

    .

Hours after the truce became official, Iran launched new missile and drone attacks against Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, while a gas plant in Abu Dhabi was set on fire.

Vice President JD Vance warned from Budapest:

“If Iran lies or cheats, they won't

    be happy.”

    He added:

“Trump is not someone to play with.”

The conflict left almost 2,000 dead in Iran

Since the beginning of the war, more than 1,900 people died in Iran, according to the latest available figures

    .

The Iranian regime has not officially updated the number of victims for several days.
