Within the framework of the summer course "Demography and Immigration: The Destination at Stake", organized by the CEU, the president of VOX, Santiago Abascal, has issued a devastating warning about the future of the Spanish nation. According to the opposition leader, Spain is undergoing a radical and deliberate demographic transformation, an immigration invasion that is not a result of chance, but of a "population replacement agenda" driven by the institutions under the corrupt Pedro Sánchez.
This open-door policy and the denaturalization of the national identity, according to Abascal, has never appeared in an electoral program nor has it had the support of the citizens, constituting an authoritarian imposition that threatens the cohesion of society.
The epicenter of this maneuver to alter the composition of the electorate is the controversial "Grandchildren's Law". Abascal provided alarming figures that demonstrate the magnitude of this plan: there are currently 2.5 million applications for naturalization, of which 600,000 have already been resolved favorably.
For the leader of VOX, this flood of new nationalities is not an innocent administrative procedure, but a tool of "Sánchez and his mafia" to twist the popular will. The use of the term "mafia" is not casual; Abascal justifies it by the constant accusations and news of corruption that plague the Government, citing scandalous examples such as the discovery of a safe at the headquarters of the Socialist Party containing jewelry worth 1.5 million euros.
