The Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, presented the Management Report 2026 to the National Congress with strong support to the Government of Javier Milei, stressing that the economic and political course adopted already shows “strong and positive results”.
During his presentation, with the presence of the President and the entire Cabinet, Adorni emphasized that “the government's progress shows strong and positive results in each of the areas, and Argentina has begun to lay the foundations for a new beginning.”
The official framed the current process within a set of structural reforms and pointed against previous efforts. “We are embarking on the arduous path of reforms necessary to return to Argentines everything that was taken from them by evil, arrogance or simply the intellectual limitation of populism that has only perpetuated decadence,

Along these lines, he argued that the current government took office with a clear mandate for change. “The President took office with a clear mandate to steer the course of a misguided country

Adorni also described the scenario received at the beginning of the administration, which he described as critical. “He received a critical situation that, if not addressed decisively and opportunely, could have resulted in a fall in GDP of more than 15% and poverty levels of 90%,”
he said.
“Fiscal irresponsibility condemned the Republic to its total meltdown and exposed people to the scourge of inflation, while insecurity was an affront to common law and the streets were anarchic. The country was not growing and future generations had worse prospects than the past,” he added
.
In his speech, the Chief of Staff remarked that the Government seeks to reverse this scenario and "we fight against that nefarious fate every day and we are leaving it in the past”.

However, he stated that “there is still a long way to go and we know that some of the results do not yet show a direct impact on the daily lives of all
Argentines.”
He also attributed part of the difficulties of the process to political factors. “This delay in our path of reconstruction is largely explained by the coup operation that Kirchnerism and the left carried out in the middle of the electoral campaign,” he said
.
The official also emphasized the scope of the reforms promoted by the libertarian administration, transforming “the country's foundations to turn it into a thriving nation, capable of overcoming its old limits and struggles, and growing in a sustained manner, and today we see it with concrete results.”
Finally, Adorni emphasized the President's approach to citizenship, who “is due to ordinary people and defends a single interest: that of those who work, those who study and those who strive”, and concluded that “the path of reforms undertaken by the Government is taking us step by step to a destiny of greatness that will separate us forever from the tragic populism that plunged us into decay”.
