The Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, presented the Management Report 2026 to the National Congress with strong support to the Government of Javier Milei, stressing that the economic and political course adopted already shows “strong and positive results”.
During his presentation, with the presence of the President and the entire Cabinet, Adorni emphasized that “the government's progress shows strong and positive results in each of the areas, and Argentina has begun to lay the foundations for a new beginning.”
The official framed the current process within a set of structural reforms and pointed against previous efforts. “We are embarking on the arduous path of reforms necessary to return to Argentines everything that was taken from them by evil, arrogance or simply the intellectual limitation of populism that has only perpetuated decadence,
” he said.
Along these lines, he argued that the current government took office with a clear mandate for change. “The President took office with a clear mandate to steer the course of a misguided country
,” he said.Adorni also described the scenario received at the beginning of the administration, which he described as critical. “He received a critical situation that, if not addressed decisively and opportunely, could have resulted in a fall in GDP of more than 15% and poverty levels of 90%,”
