After a year marked by controversy and media absence, Viviana Canosa could return to Argentine television in 2026.
The journalist, who stayed away from the media after the end of Viviana en Vivo (El Trece) and the scandal over the cross-complaints with Lizy Tagliani, is reportedly considering a new proposal to return with a political format on the El Nueve channel.
According to journalist Lucca Melpi through his X account, Canosa has reportedly been approached to host a political program at 11:00 p.m. in El Nueve's nighttime slot.
"The journalist was contacted to return to television with a political analysis format and live interviews starting in February 2026," detailed the Net TV panelist, who also stated that the idea is to revive her classic show Nada es Personal, with a renewed aesthetic and a more institutional approach.

The news comes after it became known that C5N had also shown interest in having the host, although negotiations did not move forward. In this new stage, Canosa would seek a return "more focused on political journalism and less on entertainment," according to sources close to the production.
Viviana Canosa's complaint against Lizy Tagliani
The journalist had stayed off the air after becoming involved in a legal dispute with comedian Lizy Tagliani, who filed a complaint against her after Canosa mentioned her in a broadcast, linking her, without evidence, to an alleged child trafficking network.
Although the host paid a court fine to suspend the oral trial, the episode seriously affected her image and her continuity at El Trece. Meanwhile, Lizy was forceful when addressing the issue in an interview with América TV.

"I don't care about my career. My honor, my last name, and my family come first. If she knew so much about me, she should have said it before my son was given up for adoption. She speculated about a lot of things," she said indignantly.
The comedian also reported the emotional damage she suffered: "It can mess with your head, it makes you want to end your life, literally. I don't want to have anything to do with her. I'm no longer interested in apologies, I only seek justice."
