The diva of the grand tables will celebrate her 98th birthday with a dinner for 60 people at her daughter Marcela Tinayre's mansion.
Mirtha Legrand, the diva of Argentine television, will turn 98 this Sunday, February 23, and will celebrate the occasion with a grand party. True to her elegant and sophisticated style, she will gather more than 60 guests, including family, close friends, and prominent figures from the entertainment world.
The celebration will take place at her daughter Marcela Tinayre's mansion, located in the exclusive Barrio Parque. With its spacious garden, the venue will allow guests to enjoy an outdoor evening, carefully organized by Mirtha and her personal assistant, Elvira Guaraz, who helped craft the select guest list.
The party will begin at 8:30 PM, when the first guests will arrive to pay tribute to the legendary host. The atmosphere will be decorated with floral arrangements in white and gold tones, colors that reflect La Chiqui's characteristic elegance.
For this special occasion, Mirtha Legrand will wear two outfits selected and approved by her trusted image consultant, Héctor Vidal Rivas. The first look will be a dazzling silver dress adorned with crystals, designed by Claudio Cosano. Later, she will change outfits and wear a dress embroidered with multicolored sequins, a creation by the brand Iara.
Her styling will be handled by renowned hairdresser Leo Cosenza, while Gladys Andrade will take care of her makeup, ensuring that the nonagenarian star looks impeccable throughout the night.
The birthday menu will have an Italian theme and will consist of exquisite dishes carefully selected. According to reports on shows like A la Tarde and Intrusos (América TV), the gastronomic evening will start with an appetizer of fresh burrata, joined by prosciutto di Parma, tomato confit, and wild arugula.
For the main courses, two options will be offered: salmon agnolotti with lime cream and capers, and a Popeye risotto made with spinach, brie cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. As the grand finale, guests will enjoy a classic tiramisu for dessert.
On the eve of her birthday, Mirtha Legrand will host a special edition of La Noche de Mirtha from Mar del Plata. The Mesaza will feature prominent entertainment figures: Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, Luisa Kuliok, Mauricio Dayub, Silvia Kutica, and Alejandro Paker will share anecdotes and pay tribute to the host on this very special day.
