The French team revealed in Barcelona the livery of its single-seater for the 2026 Formula 1 season
Alpine took a new step toward the 2026 season of Formula 1 by officially unveiling the A526 livery, the single-seater with which it will compete under the new technical regulations. The event took place on the shores of Barcelona, on board a cruise ship of the company MSC, one of the team's main sponsors.
The livery keeps the visual identity of recent years, with blue as the predominant color and pink details. After the presentation, the Enstone-based team released images of the car on its social media, where the main aesthetic features of the new model can be seen.
The presentation was attended by Franco Colapinto, Pierre Gasly and Flavio Briatore, one of the key figures of the project. The Italian executive highlighted the challenge posed by the new regulations and the alliance with Mercedes for the supply of the engine and gearbox.
"We are preparing for what will undoubtedly be a unique season in the history of Formula 1, especially for us with the new technical regulations, which offer us a blank sheet and a great opportunity to be more competitive than in previous campaigns", Briatore stated.
"It has been an intense few months at the Enstone factory preparing for the season, designing and creating the A526 together with Mercedes-AMG, which will supply the new engine and gearbox starting this season; a collaboration that excites us a great deal", the businessman commented.
Alpine apuesta todo al A526
Alpine has already had its first on-track contact with the A526 during a private session held on January 21 at Silverstone, where Gasly was in charge of debuting the car. The images of the test were shared by Briatore himself together with the two drivers.
Meanwhile, Colapinto, who will face his first full season as a regular driver in the top category, made his enthusiasm clear. "For the first time in my career, I have had a proper preseason to prepare for a full year, from testing to the first race. For me, this is very important, since I feel like an integral part of the project and it means that I can work hard with all the team members from the beginning", said the Argentine, who emphasized the importance of the work in the simulator and the adaptation to a car that is very different from what he has known.

"It is very different from anything I have experienced so far and I think the same thing is happening to most of the drivers on the grid. There are new tricks and new challenges to learn in order to get the most out of the package and I see it as a truly unbelievable challenge. I know that all the team members are highly motivated to have a good season. I will try to learn as much as possible in the first races, keep building, keep growing and, hopefully, that will mean that we can be competitive as a team", added the driver from Pilar.
Gasly, meanwhile, underlined the unprecedented nature of the technical challenge. "It is the first time in my career that the car has undergone such significant changes. Of course, everyone is entering uncharted territory, but, as a driver, I find it very exciting. It has been a long road for the team to get here. We have worked hard in the simulator over the past year to prepare for the new regulations and I know that everyone in Enstone has worked very hard to develop the best package possible", said the Frenchman, who is in his tenth season in the category.
