Bertolotti warned of moderate rainfall and a sharp drop in temperature in the AMBA for this Tuesday, May 27
During the second part of the day, the southern wind is expected to blow with gusts of up to 40 to 45 km/h (25 to 28 mph). This will not only cool the environment, but higher temperatures than the current ones will not be reached.
If you go out, bring warm clothing, an umbrella, and a waterproof jacket.
Good news: Wednesday brings better weather. The sun will appear and no more rain is expected. However, the real cold arrives.
The minimum temperature will be 7°C (45°F) and the maximum will reach only 14°C (57°F). The sky will be partly cloudy, but the environment will be dry and stable.
The forecast from Matías Bertolotti for this Tuesday, May 27 in Buenos Aires and surrounding areas came with a clear warning. The day will be marked by moderate rain, a nearby cold front, and strong gusts that will cause a sharp drop in temperature.
The meteorologist explained that although the rain is not heavy, it could cause problems if the storm drains are blocked. He also anticipated that the southern wind will arrive with force in the coming hours, causing a significant temperature drop.
During the early morning, it was already raining moderately in the region. By 5 a.m., 9 mm had accumulated, and the total is expected to increase to between 15 and 16 mm.
The current temperature, around 18°C (64°F), is "hanging by a thread," according to Bertolotti. In the coming hours, the cold front will cross the area and completely change the conditions. Strong southern winds and a marked temperature drop are coming.
