Monday, November 17 begins with a strong climatic contrast in the AMBA. The morning arrived with a freezing sunrise, clear sky, and an impressive twilight that accompanied a minimum temperature that felt wintry in the middle of November.
According to meteorologist Matías Bertolotti, this start of the week once again shows the extreme dynamics that have characterized the entire month. Between warm afternoons, cold mornings, and heat spikes, November continues with a variability that unsettles anyone.

Today's weather: Monday, November 17
The day began with just 10.2°C (50.4°F) in Buenos Aires and values close to 5°C (41°F) in Greater Buenos Aires. The morning felt fully wintry, the result of Patagonian air that arrived yesterday with strong winds.
A pleasant afternoon is expected, with clear skies, good weather, and a high near 25°C (77°F). At night, the thermometer will hover around 21°C (69.8°F). Ideal for enjoying the outdoors, but with a coat for going out early or ending the day.
Why it was so cold today
Bertolotti explained that the air arrived "straight from Patagonia," even carrying dust that enhanced the colors of the sunrise. With the wind calm, the cold settled over the region and resulted in this unusually low minimum for the season.
