Andy Kusnetzoff spoke about the possibility of returning to Argentine television

The host reflected on the current state of the media and left the door open for his return before the end of the year

Andy Kusnetzoff reappeared on screen through a live mobile broadcast with LAM (América TV) and surprised everyone when he spoke about his possible return to television. In addition, he shared his opinion on Mario Pergolini's comeback, who, after years of absence, will return to El Trece with a new nighttime show.

Far from avoiding the subject, Kusnetzoff spoke clearly about the current state of Argentine TV. “I love that Mario is coming back, just imagine, it's been a long time since we've seen him. For me, he's like my family of origin,” he said, referring to the bond that connects him with Pergolini since the days of CQC.

Regarding the now-famous phrase of the businessman and host—who has repeatedly stated that “television is dead”—Andy was direct:  “We're so used to talking about the crisis of TV, to throwing dirt, but this is something else. I think it's good news.”

Far from declaring the medium finished, the host of Perros de la calle defended the relevance of television: “It's not dead, just as radio isn't either. There are different formats, and if the content is good, people watch it. Before, people watched it anyway even if it wasn't good, but now you have to go out of your way to watch it; it's more difficult,” he analyzed.

When asked about his possible return, Kusnetzoff didn't rule it out and left a concrete possibility open: “I might come back before the end of the year. We're talking, we'll see.”

He then added: “I've never stayed so long in a comfortable place. I come and go. If you don't wear out a format, you can always come back.”

With a vision more focused on content than ratings, Andy also shared his idea about what kind of show he would like to do: “A good story can always be told, not necessarily with celebrities. Sometimes, a good guest with something real to say is worth more than a familiar face.”
