This Tuesday, temperatures dropped below 0 ºC (32 ºF) across almost the entire province again
After a Monday with the lowest temperatures of the year, the polar wave showed no mercy this Tuesday in Córdoba.
In all surveyed points of the province, subzero temperatureswere recorded, and in places like Río Cuarto the readings were well below that mark.
In the Southern Empire, which topped the ranking of the coldest areas, the thermometer read -10.4 °C (13.3 °F).
According to the network of meteorological stations under the Ministry of Bioagroindustry and the Córdoba Grain Exchange (BCCBA), in Córdoba city the minimum was 0.3 °C (32.5 °F).
Although at the station of the Catholic University of Córdoba (UCC), -5.7 °C (21.7 °F) was recorded.
The maximum for this Tuesday is estimated at 4 °C (39.2 °F).
The Ministry of Education of Córdoba repeated Monday's statement in which it "excused" primary and secondary students from attending school.
That is, due to the severe cold, those who do not attend will not be marked absent.
