Ubisoft has announced the arrival of version 1.1.0 of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, available since November 18 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. This special update introduces Valley of Memory, a free expansion that adds more than six hours of additional content, new environments, challenges, and technical improvements aimed at optimizing the overall game experience.
Two years after the original release, Mirage continues to receive active support and updates that address specific community requests, strengthening the classic stealth and parkour approach that characterizes this installment.
Valley of Memory: new region, original storyline, and multiple activities
The expansion takes place before the end of the main story. Basim, the game's protagonist, hears rumors about the possible survival of his father and travels to AlUla, a region meticulously reconstructed to reflect its historical significance in the 9th century. The new map is divided between the Land of the Dead and the Land of the Living, featuring deserts, ruins, oases, and open exploration areas.

The content can be started upon reaching the Head of the Snake mission, or from the main menu through a playthrough focused exclusively on the expansion.
In addition to the main narrative line, Valley of Memory adds:
Stolen Goods, stealth missions focused on stealing secret maps
Oud Melodies, parkour challenges inspired by classic mechanics of the saga
Additional contracts and open world events
These activities expand replayability and allow players to further explore the style that made Mirage a return to the franchise's roots.
Gameplay improvements, renewed parkour, and new difficulties
Update 1.1.0 also introduces significant technical changes. Among them, an updated parkour system with smoother, more precise, and varied movements:
Free Jump
Side and back ejects
New modern controls
Adjustments to the camera and overall speed
Another notable addition is the ability to replay main and side missions thanks to the Animus Sequences system, which adds optional challenges and visual rewards such as filters inspired by previous installments.

For those seeking a more demanding experience, two new difficulty levels are introduced: Hardened Assassin and Ultimate Assassin, both compatible with permadeath mode. Meanwhile, weapons and tools can be upgraded to level 3, enabling special effects such as explosive knives, corrosive bombs, and piercing darts.
Community response and valued post-launch support
The update incorporates improvements in stability, interface, combat balance, notoriety, artificial intelligence, and frequent bug fixes. Ubisoft, previously criticized for aggressive monetization policies, in this case offers a robust and completely free expansion, celebrated by veteran players and appealing to those who have not yet entered the Mirage universe.
With Valley of Memory, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is established as one of the best-supported installments of the recent saga, combining new stories, technical refinement, and options that significantly expand the experience.
