Bahía Blanca: Human Capital advances with aid to UNS after the flood

'We have a very important commitment to the population of Bahía Blanca,' said Professor Alejandro Álvarez

The National University of the South (UNS) is advancing in its recovery plan after the flood that affected various areas of the institution. In a recent meeting with the Ministry of Human Capital, headed by Sandra Pettovello, the first guidelines were established to address the damage and ensure the start of the 2025 academic year in an emergency scheme."We have a very important commitment to the population of Bahía Blanca", said the Undersecretary of University Policies, Alejandro Álvarez, to La Derecha Diario.  "Sandra Pettovello has a big commitment to the situation, our directive is to be permanently supporting the people of Bahía Blanca, even when the news is no longer on the front page of the newspapers," he concluded.

"The Undersecretary was aware of everything because he communicated with us after the catastrophe and as the days went by  "We will soon advance on specific issues, as soon as we institutionally define the steps of the recovery plan for all affected resources"

Impact of the flood on UNS

The service was able to be restored a few days before the start of the academic year.
