Bandai Namco has officially announced Tales of Berseria Remastered, a new version of the classic JRPG that will arrive on February 27, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The remaster brings back one of the most celebrated entries in the saga, with graphical improvements, quality of life adjustments, and extra content.

What's new in Tales of Berseria Remastered
Bandai Namco revealed that this version will feature an enhanced visual section and features designed to facilitate exploration and combat. Among the most notable changes, players will be able to activate destination markers and disable enemy encounters, something highly requested by the community.
The remaster also includes some of the DLC from the original 2016 release, which expands the available content from day one.
Available editions: Standard and Deluxe
The game will have two editions. The Standard edition will include the base title and a pack of consumable items for those who pre-order before launch. The Deluxe Edition will add a set of battle music tracks, a digital book, the soundtrack, and a pack of enhancement items for the characters.
Bandai Namco has also released the first official trailer, where viewers can see the visual improvements and some real-time combat footage.
A JRPG that defined an entire generation
Tales of Berseria was originally released in 2016 and became one of the most recognized entries in the franchise. Its dark story, complex characters, and dynamic combat system positioned it as one of the most highly regarded JRPGs of the decade.
