The event will take place on Friday, September 19, at the traditional Alta Córdoba bar, located within the facilities of the Instituto club. The proposal includes the screening of an independent documentary that addresses the life of Diego Armando Maradona from an artistic perspective. Admission will be free of charge, although attendees will be asked to contribute a non-perishable food item.
The work was conceived and produced by Damián Originario, directed by Lucas Costa, and has already received cultural interest recognitions. Its content combines the voices of more than forty artists from different disciplines who found in Diego a reason for creation. The Buenos Aires Legislature declared it of Cultural Interest, which reinforces its value in the social and artistic spheres.
Among those who contribute their testimonies are musicians such as Andrés Ciro Martínez, Soledad Pastorutti, Jairo, Dante Spinetta, and Pablito Lescano; writers such as Eduardo Sacheri and Hernán Casciari; journalists such as Alejandro Apo; and other personalities such as Magui Aicega also participate. The documentary seeks to show how the "Ten" transcended football to become a cultural icon.

An experience that brings together art, sports, and community
The creators explained that the film explores "the motivations that led these creators to place Diego at the center of their works." The initiative investigates how those decisions impacted each artist's life and the construction of their identity. The documentary demonstrates that Maradona not only left his mark on the field but also in music, literature, and journalism.
The screening at Mi Barrio Bar is part of the cultural agenda that the venue has been developing in Alta Córdoba. With these proposals, the aim is to bring neighbors and club members closer to activities that integrate art and sports in the same place. To participate, it will be necessary to reserve in advance by calling 3512 69-6667, since the available capacity is limited.
This way, Instituto once again builds a bridge between its sports history and the surrounding cultural community. The tribute to Maradona reinforces that search for dialogue between football and artistic production. The club's bar thus consolidates itself as a meeting space where cultural memory finds new forms of expression.
