Battlefield 6 received an update on November 18 that many players had been waiting for: the return of aim assist to the values used during the Open Beta. The modification comes after a long period of discontent, during which users reported inconsistencies in aiming, especially at medium and long range.
The studio explained that the change is based on internal testing and data analysis that showed the version implemented after launch had caused excessive slowdown, affecting accuracy and muscle memory. With the new adjustment, the slowdown when aiming is once again uniform regardless of distance, which should provide greater stability and predictability in all encounters.
What else is included in patch 1.1.2.0
The update is not limited to correcting aim assist. Battlefield Studios also added new playable content:
- Eastwood map (California): prepared for combat with tanks, helicopters, and even golf carts, depending on the selected mode.
- Sabotage mode: a temporary mode focused on demolition and tactical defense.
- Rodeo mission: vehicle battles inside the Gauntlet.
- New weapons: the DB-12 shotgun and the M357 Trait sidearm expand the available arsenal.

Meanwhile, technical improvements were applied to animations, reviving, gadgets, vehicles, and a global reduction in weapon spread. More agile control options were also added, such as instant switching to the knife and automatic sprint.
