Beatriz and Susana, two veteran freedom fighters at La Derecha Fest
At 75 and 77 years old, they went to the Quorum Hotel to be part of the event. 'We don't want to go back to the past; before, everything was the same. Now, those who study and work are valued,' they said
Once the event was over, it seemed like they didn't want to leave. "Let's move away from the door because the cold from outside is coming in," said Beatriz (75 years old) with a smile that never left her face. Next to her, Susana (77 years old) seemed to agree with every word she said.
Both friends left La Derecha Fest after 11 p.m. on Tuesday. They looked happy after listening toPresident Javier Milei and a dozen speakers who spread the ideas of freedom to deliver a resounding blow to the adversaries in the cultural battle.

They had arrived very early and looked exhausted. However, they remained at the entrance of the Hotel Quorum where more than 2,500 people had attended a historic event inCórdoba.
"What motivated me to come? Freedom, private property. That is what President Javier Milei is working to return to us Argentines. Meanwhile, I, as an Argentine and a citizen, work with my words and my limited knowledge of politics so that this can be achieved. We don't want to go back to the past," said Beatriz firmly.

Had she ever attended another political event before? we asked. "Not with Javier, this is the first and it was spectacular," she replied.
Derecha Fest: the quality of the speakers
She highlighted the unity promoted by the speakers and the need to "invite" everyone who embraces the ideas of freedom. "Everyone spoke in an exceptional way, with moral and ethical foundations, with principles, with unity, because in unity we are all one, as they said. So I think it's time to start inviting people so we can move forward and become a rich, powerful, and respected nation in the world again," she concluded.

Susana said that she arrived at La Derecha Fest with high expectations and left fulfilled. She recounted with some sadness that her son, who introduced her to the ideas of freedom, could not attend because he had to work at that time.
"I came to clarify the confused ideas I had. Not about La Libertad Avanza, but about topics like economics that I don't understand. I wanted to hear about diversity, so battered, so worn out, so used and manipulated. I wanted to see all of that," she shared.
"I really liked the people who spoke because they used scientific and comparative foundations and presented them very clearly from Sociology. That left me amazed," she added.
La Derecha Fest and the arguments for the cultural battle
For Susana, La Derecha Fest fulfilled the goal of providing her with arguments to fight the cultural battle and spread the concepts promoted by liberalism.

"I'm taking away several premises so I can defend what I had already learned. We have a foundation from a time when Argentina fought differently. We had disastrous governments, but there was a certain foundation to say, well, those who study can change their social status, those who work can save and can buy a house or a car, and they deserve what they earned. Meanwhile, lately we have seen that everything was more or less the same and it didn't matter whether you studied or not, worked or not, that you could get by more or less by cheating... So all of that moved me to come, to see if I was so wrong," she said emotionally.
"I thought all of that was incorrect. That's why I needed to refresh the ideas I heard here. That's why I'm leaving convinced, very convinced," she concluded.
The cold night in Córdoba invited people to return home and have something warm to drink, but Beatriz and Susana still wouldn't leave Quorum, savoring every last moment of an event that filled their soul, spirit, and heart.
