'Black Ops 7': this is the first trailer for the new Call of Duty set in 2035
With hyper-realistic graphics and a cooperative campaign, Black Ops 7 takes the conflict into the future and promises to revolutionize everything
Activision unveiled the first trailer for Black Ops 7 during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 and left everyone speechless.
The new installment of Call of Duty takes us to the year 2035 with out-of-this-world graphics, a cooperative campaign, and the return of key characters.

What is known so far about Black Ops 7?
After the resounding success of Black Ops 6, Microsoft and Activision are once again making a strong bet with a sequel that will seek to break their own records.
Black Ops 7 will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC. The announcement was made during the Xbox event, right before the presentation of The Outer Worlds 2.
A story that makes you "embrace the madness"
The first trailer shows a sci-fi aesthetic with an impressive level of detail. The game is set in a world on the brink of collapse, plunged into psychological warfare and extreme manipulation.

The narrative continues the events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6. David Mason leads the elite team in a battle where fear is the enemy's weapon.
Cooperative campaign, multiplayer, and zombies
Black Ops 7 will include a campaign that can be played solo or cooperatively. Players will be able to use futuristic weaponry and enjoy new multiplayer maps.

Additionally, the zombies mode returns, with a new story set in the Dark Aether universe. All under a darker and more twisted aesthetic.
Confirmed cast
- Kiernan Shipka will play Emma Kagen.
- Michael Rooker will return as Mike Harper.
The cast adds acting weight and promises intense cinematic moments in the main campaign.
A vision that honors the legacy of Black Ops
"We want this installment to embrace everything that makes Black Ops unique," explained Matt Cox, general manager of Call of Duty.

According to Cox, the proposal will be comprehensive: gripping story, frenetic gameplay, and modes that captivate both veterans and new players.
More details on the way: summer will bring new revelations
Activision has confirmed that the official presentation of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will take place at the end of this summer.
"This teaser sets the tone for what's coming. But it's only the beginning," assured Tyler Bahl, marketing director at Activision.
