With his contract close to expiring and no agreement to renew it, the Jewel could leave the Italian club earlier than expected

Paulo Dybala's future has once again come under scrutiny, and Boca officials continue to follow every signal coming from Italy closely. In recent hours, Roma has decided to place the Argentine forward on the transfer list, a move that could speed up his departure and strongly revive the chance that he will wear the Xeneize jersey in the short term.
According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, the relationship between "La Joya" and the Roman club is going through its final chapters. The player's contract expires in June and negotiations to extend it are completely stalled, to the point that they have been virtually interrupted.
In this scenario, Roma would be willing to negotiate an immediate transfer in the current transfer window for a sum close to 2 or 3 million euros. If the sale doesn't go through, Dybala would become a free agent at the end of the European season.
La Roma estaría dispuesta a vender a Dybala en este mercado de pases
From Italy, it has also emerged that the player himself has already expressed his intention to play for Xeneize and is seriously considering a return to Argentine football. In any case, his priority is to solve his departure from the Italian club on good terms and without generating institutional conflicts.
The possibility of a renewal cooled definitively when Roma proposed a significant salary reduction. The offer included a new contract worth around 3 million euros per year, far from the approximately 8 million net that he currently receives, a difference that marked the breaking point in the talks.
Meanwhile, in La Ribera, officials are watching the situation with anticipation. Dybala's contractual situation once again opens a door that seemed closed and fuels the hope of an arrival that, this time, appears as a real possibility.
Dybala's numbers at Roma
Since his arrival at "La Loba" in mid-2022, the forward from Córdoba has played just over 8,500 minutes, spread across 133 matches. In that span, he has scored 45 goals, provided 25 assists, and has not recorded any titles.
