Boca will seek to sign Malcom Braida, one of Miguel Ángel Russo's requests.
The Xeneize leadership has already made initial contact with San Lorenzo to secure the full-back, whom the newly appointed head coach knows very well from his recent stint at El Ciclón
After the official presentation of Miguel Ángel Russo as the new head coach of Boca, the Football Council, led by Juan Román Riquelme, has begun to accelerate negotiations for Malcom Braida, the full-back who is well known from his recent spell at San Lorenzo.
The management has initiated the first talks with Ciclón to try to add the defender, a regular starter for the team during the last two seasons at the club.

Although specific figures for the transfer have not yet been discussed, the player's current value is around 4 million euros, according to the specialized site Transfermarkt. Nevertheless, San Lorenzo will try to keep him due to his outstanding recent performances: he played all 18 matches of the championship, scored two goals, both against Racing on matchday eight, and provided one assist.
In this context, Julio Lopardo, interim president after Marcelo Moretti took a leave of absence, made it clear a few days ago that the blaugrana club doesn't look favorably on transferring players to Boca or Huracán, their traditional rivals. For this reason, it would not be surprising if the financial demand to Xeneize were higher than what would be asked of other interested institutions.
Regarding the transfer market, in addition to Braida, Boca aims to quickly secure the arrival of three other players who are on the extensive list of reinforcements: Marco Pellegrino (Huracán player, but whose rights belong to Milan), Walter Mazzanti (also a player for Globo), and Marino Hinestroza (Atlético Nacional de Colombia footballer). The goal is to sign them before June 10, the deadline to register them on the official Club World Cup roster.

So far, there have been some developments, such as the one confirmed by the Colombian winger, but the negotiations that are formally underway are those for Pellegrino and Braida, who would be a key addition for Russo. His versatility would allow him to compete for all three positions on the left side of the field alongside the rest of the squad.
