Just hours before the worldwide release of "F1: The Movie", Brad Pitt, the famous American actor, gave an interview to Telenoche, eltrece's news program, where he spoke about the present of Franco Colapinto.

When asked about the Argentine driver, whom he met at the avant premiere held in New York, Pitt said: "I think he has a great future ahead of him and it's great to see him back there."

Meanwhile, there was a meeting between the actor and the young Buenos Aires native at one of the film's international presentations, right in the middle of Times Square. Colapinto, who attended as part of the group of drivers and arrived accompanied by his teammate at Alpine, Pierre Gasly, took the opportunity to greet the actor who plays a driver in the movie.

The scene was warm and relaxed, with a handshake and laughter between the two. The images quickly went viral on social media. After the screening, Colapinto shared his impression: "Brad was a bit off, like in the movie. No, just kidding, he's amazing, amazing," joked the Argentine driver.

"He was clean-shaven, and I said 'that's not him.' He was bald, no beard, and I thought 'what happened, Brad?' The years catch up with all of us. I'm sure the girls don't care. How old is he? 60 years old? He's already older. It doesn't matter, right? Honestly, he's amazing, a very good person. Also, the way he welcomed us... After that, meeting Brad when I've been watching his movies since I was 10 years old... It's crazy, a dream," he commented.

The driver also highlighted the magnitude of the event: "I've never seen so many televisions together in my life." In contrast to that Hollywood night, Colapinto will get back in the car next weekend at the Red Bull Ring, venue of the Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh round of the current season.

Before returning to action, the Argentine valued the experience: "It was a unique experience to walk the red carpet in Times Square and meet Brad Pitt. Without a doubt, it was a day I'll never forget. The movie will be the topic of conversation in the paddock next weekend and I'm excited for everyone to see it."

Looking ahead to the competition, he analyzed what's coming: "It wasn't the result we wanted last weekend in Canada, but we made progress session by session and showed potential. It's a circuit I know well and there will be pressure to maximize everything in qualifying and score points in the race."
