According to the family, the ride had started in the Plaza España area, in the Nueva Córdoba neighborhood, and was to be paid by bank transfer.
Upon arrival at the residence, at Caseros and Francisco Candiotti, the driver insisted that the payment had not been received.
To avoid problems in front of his children, Martín offered to pay in cash and went to get the money from his house.
However, when he got out of the car, the situation spiraled out of control: the driver hit him and then picked up a piece of paving stone from the sidewalk, with which he attacked him from behind, causing a severe cranial trauma, according to the Cba24N portal.
"We heard the daughters' screams for help. When we went outside, Martín was already lying on the ground. It was a horrible moment," said Ricardo, a neighbor.
He also said that the driver was "in shock," not understanding what had happened.
Martín was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery due to the severity of the injury. His condition is critical.
