A driver of line 218 was stabbed in the face in La Matanza. In response, the workers of the Almafuerte company decided to interrupt the service on six bus lines.
The incident occurred in the San Javier neighborhood, in Virrey del Pino. The victim suffered cuts on the face and was taken to a local hospital, where he is out of danger. However, his colleagues are demanding greater security measures.

Colleagues of the assaulted driver reported that violence in the area is constant. They recalled that, in 2020, the bus driver Pablo Flores was murdered meters from where this new attack occurred.
Additionally, last December, in San Isidro, another driver of line 338 was attacked by a passenger with a bottle after an argument.
