The province of Buenos Aires, governed by the ultra-Kirchnerist Axel Kicillof, is sinking into an unprecedented security crisis. This time, violence struck again in La Matanza, where Luis Gabriel Quinteros, 32 years old, was brutally murdered by motorcycle thieves while trying to prevent a robbery.
The main suspect is a 16-year-old minor with an extensive criminal record, who, despite his background, remained free thanks to the lenient justice system.
The teenager's arrest, identified as "Pepo", occurred after six raids conducted by the Bonaerense Police. Among the seized evidence were a jacket and a black helmet that were allegedly used in the crime.
According to police sources, the young killer has an alarming criminal history: in December 2023, he was arrested for resisting authority and possession of a firearm; in January 2023, for weapon abuse; and in January 2021, for aggravated robbery with a weapon. However, thanks to the lenient system and the negligence of the Buenos Aires government, he remained on the streets.

The homicide occurred on Friday at 8:30 PM at the corner of Coronel Lynch and Illia. Two criminals on a motorcycle attempted to steal another vehicle when Quinteros and his friends confronted them to prevent the robbery.
