The calm before the storm between Benjamín Vicuña and China Suárez

Magnolia and Amancio's future divides the former couple and threatens to reignite media tension

The relationship between Benjamín Vicuñaand  la China Suárez is currently experiencing a period of apparent calm, although everything suggests that a new scandal could erupt. The central issue is the future of their children together, Magnolia and Amancio, and the actress's desire for them to live with her in Türkiye, just as she already agreed with Nicolás Cabré for her eldest daughter, Rufina, to reside there.

In recent weeks, Suárez publicly accused Vicuña of being a bad father, of having addiction problems, and of engaging in psychological abuse. The actor, meanwhile, avoided confronting the media and stated that his priority is his children.

A trip that exposed the differences

The conflict escalated when Vicuña revoked his ex's permission to take the children to Istanbul. Although he later authorized them to travel for winter vacation, he maintained his refusal to allow a permanent move with Suárez and  Mauro Icardi.

Last weekend, Magnolia and Amancio returned from Türkiye. The reunion with their father at the airport was emotional and was captured by cameras. "It was beautiful, very nice, everything's fine," Vicuña said on Intrusos.

The actor also highlighted the support of his current partner, Anita, at this time: "She's a support for me, of course."

"It broke. We're all responsible"

When asked about Suárez's statements, Vicuña replied: "They were special moments. Something that at some point I'll be able to process, understand, and share. But there's nothing more to say. You saw it, it's already over."

He reiterated that he won't make negative comments about the mother of his children:  "What's important is solved behind closed doors, with my children. Never, never, ever will I speak ill of my children's mother."

When the reporter pointed out that Suárez had spoken ill of him, the actor reaffirmed his position: "I'm not going to do it. We've been separated for a long time, during which we found a very harmonious, very flexible way to relate. It's a shame, that broke, we're all responsible but we're going to find a way for everything to work for the children's sake."

For now, calm prevails. However, the final decision about where Magnolia and Amancio will live could mark the beginning of a new chapter of media conflict between Vicuña and la China Suárez.
