Carmen Barbieri will return to television on a new channel

After the abrupt departure from El Trece, the host signed a contract with another channel and will return with a new show

After the sudden cancellation of Mañanísima on El Trece, Carmen Barbieri will return to television with a new project. Her morning show was replaced by Mujeres Argentinas, hosted by María Belén Ludueña, marking the end of an era for the actress and presenter.

A month after her show's departure, various sources confirmed that Barbieri already has everything ready for her arrival at El Nueve, the channel that hired her. Following in the footsteps of Florencia de la V, who also changed channels recently, the host will occupy a new slot in the television line-up.

According to the account @forofms on X, Carmen will take the time slot that until now belonged to Todas Las Tardes. Originally, Graciela Alfano had been considered for that slot, but she declined the offer to avoid displacing Karin Cohen from her position.

Barbieri's reaction after the cancellation of Mañanísima

The abrupt end of Mañanísima marked the closure of five years of Carmen Barbieri's work at El Trece. In a conversation with Intrusos (América), the host expressed her discontent with how the decision was handled.

"I felt a stomach ache. That channel gave me five years of a lot of work and happiness. I know our profession is like this, sometimes you have a lot of work and other times nothing," she commented with sadness.

She also revealed her annoyance with El Trece's authorities for the lack of prior notice. "I'm out of work because I couldn't plan anything. The decision was surprising, and I left everything because I was sure the show would continue on the channel. I know the environment is like this, but they should have told me the show had ended. This way, I could have decided because I ended up in a bad position with people who had proposed theater plays to me," she explained.

With her imminent return to television, Carmen Barbieri once again takes a leading role on the small screen, now with a new challenge on El Nueve.
