A clip went viral where Bottero reads him an alleged intimate chat with Florencia de la V. The risqué tone caused immediate controversy.
Amid the scandal, Carmen revealed that her son warned her in advance about what was going to happen. "He sent me the interview before it aired," she explained. She also clarified that she only watched fragments.
"He said: 'Mom, be careful when you watch it'"
According to her account, Fede Bal wanted her to know in advance what was coming. "He knows me and knows that some things can shock me," Carmen said, who described herself as a fan of dark humor.
"I do a lot of dark humor, but I try to soften it because not everyone likes it," she said. Still, she acknowledged that the interview was intense and that the host "is like that, he's successful, he's intelligent."
Carmen didn't finish watching the interview and her son got angry
"I didn't watch it in full and Fede got angry with me," she said. "He told me 'Mom, how could you not watch it? You don't have time to go to the psychologist and you don't have time to watch a 12-minute interview of mine?'"
Barbieri justified her decision: "Maybe it's an unconscious thing of mine not wanting to watch it." However, she admitted that what she did see was intense, although she clarified that the host's style is provocative.
