The 'Chantalán' Rubí: Who is the left-wing operator working for Jorge Macri
The Catalan advisor is at the service of the worst communist filth in Latin America and now works for PRO
Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí, the obscure Catalan operator with ties to the left throughout the region, is once again at the center of the scene for his role in the smear campaign against President Javier Milei. This character, with a long history of working for the worst exponents of Latin American socialism, has been repeatedly hired by authoritarian, corrupt, and populist leaders who plunged their countries into chaos.
It is no coincidence that his resume is filled with nefarious figures: he advised Cristina Kirchner in her crusade for narrative and manipulation, was strategist for Gustavo Petro in Colombia, architect of the campaign for Xiomara Castro in Honduras, operator for Rafael Correa in Ecuador –responsible for a decade of authoritarianism–, and architect of Sergio Massa's image, one of the main responsible for the Argentine economic disaster.
Now, after Massa's resounding failure in the 2023 elections, Gutiérrez-Rubí found a new client: Jorge Macri, current head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires, who reportedly called him to continue the dirty work against the national Government. The objective? To tarnish Milei, erode his image, and position Macri and the PRO as a "moderate" alternative to the liberal chainsaw.

A fake news machinery at the service of power
Gutiérrez-Rubí is not a simple advisor. He is an architect of smear campaigns, fake news, and discursive manipulation. He uses strategies of media saturation, digital warfare, and construction of internal enemies to install false narratives. He did so with Claudia Sheinbaum in Mexico, AMLO's heir who promises to continue with the statist and clientelist model, and he repeats it now in Buenos Aires.
From social networks, paid media, and covert operations, the Catalan operator deploys a communication arsenal that doesn't seek to inform, but to confuse, distort, and divide. He did it in Colombia with fear campaigns against Uribism. He did it in Argentina with Massa's "fear campaign". And today he does it against Milei, the only leader who openly challenges the progressive consensus of the region.

A pawn of the international left
Behind the soft and academic style he pretends to show, Gutiérrez-Rubí is a strategic pawn of the populist and collectivist regimes that destroy the region. His presence is a clear indication that those who hire him are not on the side of change, but on the side of privileges, manipulation, and the continuity of the statist model.
That Jorge Macri has him on his team today should set off all the alarms. One can't speak of modern management while paying with public funds an operator of the worst political scum in Latin America.
