Meters from Plaza Francia, Fervor has established itself as one of the culinary epicenters of political and economic power

The Kirchnerist operator Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí –linked to smear operations against Javier Milei in favor of Jorge Macri– enjoys banquets at one of the most expensive restaurants in Buenos Aires City: Fervor, in Recoleta, where an average dinner can cost up to 80 dollars per person.

According to what was published by La Derecha Diario, Rubí was reportedly spotted at this exclusive gastronomic venue, known for its export-quality meat and frequented by businesspeople, political figures, celebrities, and members of secret services. But the scandalous part is not just the place, but the origin of the funds that allow him these luxuries: public money from the City, that is, from the taxes of the residents of Buenos Aires.

Fervor, top-level and power in the heart of Recoleta

Located meters from Plaza Francia, the Fervor restaurant has established itself as one of the culinary epicenters of political and economic power. With a wine list of premium labels and dishes ranging from high-quality cuts of meat to imported fish, the average ticket easily reaches 80 dollars per diner.

This elite space is no stranger to reserved meetings, strategic conversations, and hallway agreements. Precisely for this reason, the regular presence of Rubí is striking, a figure who holds no institutional position but appears linked to a network of media operators tasked with smearing President Milei and protecting certain sectors of the PRO.

From operator to gourmet: the business of tarnishing Milei

Rubí reportedly became a key piece in the black propaganda machinery against the national Government. Paid with funds from Buenos Aires City, his task would be to orchestrate digital campaigns, manipulate journalists, and spread misinformation on social media to favor Jorge Macri and erode the image of President Javier Milei.

In other words: while many Argentines tighten their budgets, Rubí dines among glasses of reserve wine and dry-aged steak, funded by the Buenos Aires taxpayer, all in the service of a political operation.

A snapshot of old politics

The case of Rubí at Fervor is more than a gastronomic anecdote. It is a symbol of the Argentina that many want to leave behind: that of operators paid with state money, hidden privileges, and the use of public resources for personal or partisan faction benefit.

The complaint exposes a new face of the political caste, which, far from having disappeared, seems to continue moving in the shadows, with a glass in hand and the bill paid by everyone.
