The best start of the year in seven years
The automotive market is on the rise. In June, 52,212 vehicles were registered nationwide, according to ACARA data. That represents 68.9% more than in June 2024.

When compared to May, there is a 7.3% decrease, since that month there were 56,321 registrations. Still, the accumulated total for the semester reaches 326,039 units, 77.8% above the same period of the previous year.
A historic semester
ACARA president Sebastián Beato highlighted that this is the best first semester in seven years. He pointed out as key factors the reduction of taxes, stimulus measures, and access to more convenient financing.

"The sector is today one of the engines of recovery," he stated. He also expressed that the goal is to maintain this level in the second half of the year, with the expectation of reaching 650,000 units annually.
