Chechu Bonelli broke the silence after finding out, just a week before the trip, that she would not be part of the coverage for the 2026 World Cup alongside La Casa Stream. The journalist shared her feelings on the program Sálvese quien Pueda on América TV.

"As a sports journalist, one of the biggest dreams is to go to a World Cup," Chechu expressed, admitting that she did not expect the decision. They asked her to hold on in case any possibility arose later, but the news hit her hard.

"I wasn't angry, I was disappointed. I'm sad because going to a World Cup is a dream for me and I had the logistics already organized," she continued. Despite the disappointment, she remains hopeful that if the Argentine national team advances in the tournament, the trip could be revived.

The host tried to understand the situation in the country and assured that she is at a point in her life where she seeks not to get too anxious. "I try to understand them," she said about La Casa Stream.

The conflict with Darío Cvitanich

In addition to the disappointment over the World Cup, Chechu Bonelli is facing a strong clash with her ex-partner, former footballer Darío Cvitanich. The conflict escalated in recent days with statements on various entertainment programs.

Cvitanich gave his version on family matters, including the care of their dog, which generated more tension. Chechu, visibly affected, responded in a mobile interview with Intrusos: "I'm exhausted, extremely tired. I will not allow anything or anyone to tarnish either my name or my person."

The journalist, married for 14 years to Cvitanich, stated: "I was married for 14 years to a person who today, unfortunately, I do not know." She also denied having given away the dog and explained that she cut off communication because it was not healthy for her. "I blocked him; I can't have a normal dialogue with him," she noted.

Cvitanich's sister-in-law, Lucrecia, publicly defended him and questioned the image Chechu projects. "The reality is far from what they are saying. Cecilia is not anything like what she tries to demonstrate," she expressed, adding that Frida is in Baradero because she did not want to take responsibility.
