In a new operation with false information, the media outlet Clarín published a note this Friday titled "Carlos Rovira admitted that the request to change his senators' vote was made by Javier Milei", based exclusively on a supposed leak from the newspaper La Nación, which in turn relied on the testimony of "half a dozen participants" of a private meeting.
In other words, to try to tarnish the Government of Javier Milei, a high-impact political news story was constructed without a single identified source or recorded or documented statements.
The media operation seeks, once again, to attack the figure of the Argentine president amid the debate over the Clean Record project, an initiative that failed to be approved in the Senate by just one vote on May 7.

Clarín's version attempts to install the false idea of a pact between Milei and the leader of the Renewal Front of Concord, Carlos Rovira, to change the vote of the Misiones senators at the last minute, which was denied not only by official sources and the attitude of the president himself, but also because Clarín and La Nación's claim lacks reliable sources and support.
Javier Milei's anger
Through his X account, Javier Milei described the voting result as "REGRETTABLE. END" and directly pointed to Kirchnerism as responsible for the rejection. Moreover, Milei targeted the PRO —and particularly deputy Silvia Lospennato— whom he accused of having used the project as a media operation for electoral benefit in the Buenos Aires campaign.
