After several days with winter weather, the AMBA is slowly starting to leave behind the most intense cold. According to the updated forecast from the National Meteorological Service (SMN), relief will arrive gradually during the long weekend for May 25, although mornings will remain cool.
This Friday, May 22 starts with a very cold environment in the City of Buenos Aires and the surrounding area, but the outlook will begin to improve from Saturday thanks to the arrival of northeast winds and the gradual increase in temperatures.

How the weather will be this Friday, May 22 in Buenos Aires
Friday will continue with typically winter conditions in the AMBA. The SMN forecasts a minimum of 7°C and a maximum of just 13°C, with skies ranging from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy at different times of the day.
The wind will blow lightly from the south and southwest, which will keep the thermal sensation low for much of the day. By night, the temperature will hover around 10°C and no rain is expected.
Saturday starts to ease the cold weather in the AMBA
The thermal improvement will begin to be felt on Saturday, May 23. The forecast indicates a minimum of 9°C and a maximum of 15°C, with clear skies for a large part of the day.

The arrival of northeast winds will help cut the polar air circulation that dominated the week. Additionally, it will be an ideal day for outdoor activities, as the sun will be more prominent and the wind will be moderate.
Sunday and Monday: temperatures rise during the long weekend
Sunday, May 24 will show an even more marked improvement in the weather. The SMN anticipates a minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 16°C, with variable cloudiness and some sunny periods.
