On May 18, the historic Posta de Impira opened May Week with a moving event for Escarapela Day. The site is located 65 km (40 miles) from the city of Córdoba and is close to Laguna Larga and Oncativo.
Thanks to the work of committed neighbors and the generous contribution of Oscar Scorza, the historic site came back to life for the second consecutive year.
This historic place was once witness to the passage of national heroes such as Alvear, Quiroga, and Belgrano. It later became a meeting point where history comes alive and patriotism is renewed.

The proximity of Posta de Impira to sites such as Oncativo—a symbol of key battles in our history—made the commemoration even more symbolic.
There, gaucho groups from Oncativo, Costa Sacate, and Córdoba participated in an event with dances and a moving flag-raising ceremony. The folk dances, performed by the Tierra Adentro group, were celebrated by the entire audience.
The flagpole, carved from noble wood, raised a new flag, reaffirming the value of our national identity. More than a cultural event, it was a declaration: there is an Argentina that honors its history and resists oblivion and symbolic depletion.
