Tuesday morning brought surprising news that caused concern in the media environment: Claudia Villafañe, Diego Maradona's ex-wife, was involved in a car accident on Guillermo Udaondo Avenue, near Puente Labruna, in Núñez, in front of River Plate's stadium.
According to journalist Mauro Szeta on his X account (formerly Twitter), the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m., when the businesswoman was driving her SUV and attempted a U-turn, a maneuver that reportedly resulted in a minor collision with another private vehicle.
The police report states that, although the occupants of the other car were unharmed, Claudia sustained a minor head contusion. Marina Calabró provided further details on La Peña del Club Social (América TV): "Personnel were dispatched due to a crash with injuries, and it was confirmed that an SUV driven by Claudia Villafañe allegedly made an improper maneuver. The impact was minor, but she suffered a superficial injury."

What does the medical report say?
SAME arrived at the scene to assess the businesswoman. However, Villafañe chose to leave on her own and declined ambulance transport.
"She was evaluated at the scene, but it was not serious. She refused transport because she felt fine," emergency services reported.
