Cool Monday with light rain: Matías Bertolotti's forecast for the AMBA

The meteorologist Matías Bertolotti shared the forecast for Monday, May 19 and explained how the weather will continue after a weekend marked by heavy rains and floods. The city of Buenos Aires accumulated almost 200 millimeters of rain in just two days, double the monthly average for May.

The cause is a small disturbance of bad weather that continues to affect the AMBA and may leave weak and isolated drizzles during the day. No sun is expected, and the sky will remain overcast all day.

The maximum expected is 11°C (52°F), with the day ending still cool and unstable. It is recommended to go out with warm clothing and a raincoat.

Tuesday is shaping up to be the first stable day of the week. A very cold morning is expected, with lows between 6°C (43°F) and 7°C (45°F), but with clear skies.

In the afternoon, the temperature will rise to 18°C (64°F) with good weather conditions. It will be an ideal day for outdoor activities, although it is advisable to dress warmly in the morning.
