In the context of simplifying administrative procedures, the Province of Córdoba, through the Ministry of Security, formally adhered to the new national provisions related to driver's licenses.
This update includes the validation of digital licenses through the "Mi Argentina" application, as well as new regulations for professional licenses.
Digital licenses: validity and oversight
From now on, national driver's licenses will have a digital version, accessible from the Mi Argentina app. This version also allows for online renewal and other common procedures, marking progress in the digitization of public services.
This measure is effective immediately for all licenses issued at National Issuance Centers. In the case of licenses granted by Provincial Issuance Centers, the Government of Córdoba and the Nation are working on full integration that will allow all licenses to become national in character.

For oversight tasks, the provincial Ministry of Security, through the Córdoba Police, will recognize as valid both the digital version in Mi Argentina for national licenses, and the digital version in CIDI for provincial licenses. If the validity of the digital license can't be credibly verified, its physical version will be requested.
Changes in professional licenses: classes C, D, and E
The Nation delegated to the Province of Córdoba the authority to issue professional licenses class C (light cargo transport), D (passenger transport), and E (heavy cargo transport). These licenses will be issued by the Nation in digital format, with the possibility of physical printing at the driver's request.
To access these licenses, it will be necessary to have:
Paid CENAT certificate
Approved Training and Driving Course
Valid Psychophysical Certificate
Other specific requirements according to category

The application will be managed through the official page of the National Road Safety Agency, and the Province will have the authority to establish the validity of both the license and the psychophysical certificate.
Extension for current professional licenses
Meanwhile, current provincial professional licenses (classes C, D, and E), along with a valid LINTI certificate or a new one issued by authorized institutions, will enable interjurisdictional circulation for 90 days, extendable for another 90 days. This measure will be in effect until the new national system for issuing professional licenses is fully operational.
With this adherence, Córdoba aligns with the new national standards, aiming for greater digital integration, efficiency in procedures, and road safety.
