Córdoba and its millionaire summit: ideological agenda, green circus, and guaranteed spending
The province and municipality are promoting a pro-Agenda 2030 environmentalist show with empty speeches and increased public spending
The "1st International Climate Conference" and the "5th World Circular Economy Summit" will take place from July 1 to 3 in Córdoba. The event, organized by the provincial and municipal governments, promises "climate action," but repeats the same alarmist speeches from the 2030 Agenda. Although admission is "free", the event involves high organizational costs that someone must finance, in this case, all Córdoba taxpayers.

The Climate Expo will take place in the green spaces in front of the Convention Center, open to the public with "sustainable products and services." Talks by academics and debate panels are announced, but the speeches are limited to fatalistic and moralistic green rhetoric. The companies and cooperatives present will showcase "innovative solutions," within the same environmental marketing scheme.

Empty speeches and million-dollar green spectacle
The official schedule includes sessions on "energy transition" and "artificial intelligence in climate action." Panels and workshops are also offered, but there are no announcements of real cuts to political spending or audits of previous funding.
Public institutions such as CONICET and UNC will participate in the meeting, as well as multiple municipalities, all with public funds. However, neither the province nor the City presents an austerity plan or reduction of their structures loaded with political positions. The event becomes a showcase for environmental branding rather than a forum for transformation.

2030 Agenda rhetoric
Activities such as the "Climathon" and visits to the Municipal School of Circular Economy are announced. Meanwhile, local officials talk about "circularity" and "green economy," the municipal political staff continues to grow without reduction. There is no balance between rhetoric and reduction of state privileges.
Climate agendas are imposed without transparency or accountability, while political spending and bloated structures remain intact. The so-called circular economy doesn't commit a single peso (2.2 pounds) to real cuts and is reduced to an empty show, far from concrete solutions for Córdoba. This kind of event only legitimizes public waste under an ecological façade.
